    Rhododendron Lake
    Rhododendron Lake is located in the Nanoose Bay area. Named after the ecological reserve of wild rhododendrons nearby, the lake is stocked with rainbow, steelhead and cutthroat trout. Peak fishing times are May to June, and September to October.

    Boomerang Lake
    Rough roads lead to this worthwhile fishing spot near Nanoose Bay. Stocked with trout of the Rainbow, Cutthroat and Steelhead varieties, fishing is best from April to June and September to October. Located 21 km (13 mi) south of the Island Highway 19, the lake is accessed via Branch 142 from the Northwest Bay logging mainline.
